Red Bordeaux

Robert Parker opens the introduction to his authoritative and extremely useful book on the subject with “Bordeaux holds the paramount position in today’s world of wine.” Our attitude to Bordeaux wines is to buy good wine that is ready to drink now. Unfortunately this sometimes means that it is also expensive, but silly prices just mean that one cannot drink them so often, and that they must be truly savoured. Nevertheless, by spending a great deal of time with several Masters of Wines and with careful buying over the years, we have produced a superb list of wines, which are comprehensive, representative, and all are ready to drink.
