Hintlesham Hall Hotel is a magnificent 16th century grade I listed country house set in beautiful, peaceful and mature grounds and is approached via an impressive tree-lined drive.
Whether you are planning an intimate, traditional occasion or a larger, vibrantly spectacular celebration, Hintlesham Hall Hotel has everything you require for your perfect wedding venue:-

Civil Ceremony Four beautiful rooms of the house are licensed to perform civil ceremonies.
We do not usually hold civil ceremonies only without having the wedding breakfast at the Hall, however, we may consider this possibility out of prime time – prices for civil ceremonies only on application.
The timings for your civil ceremony depend upon your evening reception and can be discussed at the time of enquiry.
To arrange a registrar to attend your civil ceremony, the bride or groom should contact the Ipswich Registrars direct to check availability of dates and times on 01473 583051.
As part of our wedding service, we can co-ordinate your personal choice of CD music for the entrance of the bride, signing of the register and bride and groom’s exit. Alternatively, you may like us to help arrange live musicians, such as a string quartet, harpist, pianist or guitarist.
The following room hire prices apply for your civil ceremony. If you wish to hold both your civil ceremony and your wedding breakfast at Hintlesham Hall Hotel, then simply add both the civil ceremony and wedding breakfast room hire rates (on separate tabs) together.
VAT at the current rate is inclusive. The Salon The Georgian-style Salon is the most spectacular and largest licensed room, with its impressive chandelier and ornate gold-leaf ceiling.

The Carolean The Carolean Room is situated on the first floor and is approached by the beautiful Long Gallery. The most remarkable feature of The Carolean Room is the stunning 17th century plasterwork ceiling, which is considered one of the finest examples in the country.

The Parlour The pine-panelled Parlour room with its grand marble fireplace is situated on the ground floor.

The Justice Room The intimate Justice room, overlooking the back lawns, is perfect for the smaller ceremony of up to 20 guests and has a charm all of its own.

Wedding Breakfast Rooms We have three beautiful dining rooms available for your wedding breakfast.
If you are also holding your civil ceremony in The Salon, The Parlour or The Justice rooms, we will prepare that room for your wedding breakfast after the service whilst your party is gathering in the lounge or terrace area for your aperitifs and photographs.
The wedding breakfast room hire charge also includes the use of our sumptuous lounge areas for aperitifs, the beautiful gardens for your photographs and one of our lovely bridal suites for the bride and groom for their wedding night.

If your number of guests is between 92 and 137, we can also set up the adjacent pine-panelled Parlour room, which has an interconnecting door leading to The Salon. The Parlour The pine-panelled Parlour room with its grand marble fireplace is situated on the ground floor.

Wedding Breakfast Our award winning Head Chef of 23 years, Alan Ford, has prepared some delicious suggested wedding menus (click here to open the suggested menus) to give you a taste of his style, but he is always delighted to personally discuss your own menu ideas with you.
We are also able to offer you a menu tasting prior to the day to ensure that you are totally happy with all aspects of the meal.
We can offer advice on selecting wines to complement your menu and on the Apéritifs & Photos tab you can find a small selection of our most popular wines for a guideline. Menu and Wine Prices
As part of our wedding service we are delighted to assist you with the finishing touches, such as typing menu cards, handwriting place cards and typing your table plan for display.
Our Food & Beverage Manager is also delighted to act as an informal toastmaster for the occasion, guiding your guests throughout the day and making the necessary announcements on your behalf. Evening Reception Following your wedding breakfast at the Hall and if you would like to continue your celebrations with an evening reception, the following options are available. Evening Dancing We can offer evening dancing with music in the Salon at Hintlesham Hall Hotel:-
if you book exclusive use of Hintlesham Hall Hotel (see the exclusive use tab)
or
if you hold your wedding on a Sunday to Thursday and you require at least ten bedrooms for overnight accommodation (room hire and bedroom prices on request)
Alternatively, just a few minutes walk from the Hall through the delightful herb garden, is the associated Hintlesham Golf Clubhouse, which is available from 6.30pm to midnight. With its contemporary ambience and panoramic views from the terrace, it is ideal for an evening reception for up to 140 guests.
The Golf Clubhouse incurs a facility fee for your evening reception, which includes a stage and dance floor. In addition, there is a requirement to offer your guests an evening finger buffet catering for the whole party. Please call Hintlesham Golf Clubhouse direct for menus and prices on 01473 652761.
You may book a maximum of nine bedrooms at the hotel, if you wish, if you are holding your evening reception at Hintlesham Golf Clubhouse on a Friday or Saturday evening. Rates on request.
We are also able to organise other entertainment for you. A Fun Casino has been a popular choice.
Evening Drinks If you prefer to simply just relax with your guests in one of our lovely lounges after your wedding breakfast, we are able to offer the Garden Room and/or Library for evening drinks. Room hire rates from £150.00.
Suggested Evening Finger Buffet Menu The minimum spend for your evening finger buffet menu is £16.50 per person. Please choose the same items for the whole of your party.

The first is the Bespoke Wedding Package which is designed for you to tailor your own personal requirements and the second is the Gainsborough Wedding Package which has everything you need with all the most popular items included. You can, of course, upgrade any package to suit your own ideas.
