Loved our room the 'Regatta' décor was beautiful, room clean and well presented waiters at dinner were polite, smart and attentive. The meal was very well presented and tasty. The waitress at breakfast was so nice, attentive and very smart. All in all an amazing visit I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends, thank you. Spot on thank you Cannot fault service at all. Evening waiters were very good. Lovely comfortable lounge

My husband and I have stayed several times at Hintlesham Hall and are always met with a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel is beautifully presented throughout, with lovely comfortable lounges to relax in, amazing bedrooms with immaculate bathrooms, really comfortable beds and a pillow choice is available if required. The food is delicious with Quality ingredients and presented well. I am a celiac and also have several food allergies. This has never been a problem at Hintlesham Hall and I know I can eat there with confidence. The staff are lovely, very attentive and we always feel spoilt when we visit. We feel Hintlesham Hall is the perfect place to visit, for a special occasion, a relaxed getaway or to just call in for coffee or lunch

40th Birthday treat

A fantastic experience all round. Really lovely room (Regatta), very relaxing and comfortable. Delicious breakfast too! Cannot fault this hotel. Would highly recommend. Service and quality were outstanding. Thank you Hintlesham Hall staff.

Old style hospitality

Old style hospitality - as it should be. My wife and I spent a couple of lovely days here exploring the area (Sutton Hoo etc) and the hotel looked after us very well. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout. Comfortable and well decorated rooms although if you stay in our one you might need a grappling hook as there's a definite gradient! Carriers food was excellent and beautifully prepared and the chef/s were very happy to cater for my wife's messed up "allergies". Well worth a visit.

A little bit of something special ..

We had a really enjoyable stay at HH. Huge, very comfortable room with luxurious finishes. The staff couldn't do enough to help. Silence, big gardens to stroll through and open fires to come back to. If you want a place to get away from the grind, this is a special place.

A true Country House Christmas.

Christmas at Hintlesham Hall cannot be beaten; excellent staff, warm welcome, good food, lovely comfortable rooms, traditional country house decorations and atmosphere. This was our 4th Christmas here and we meet up with friends that we met and made during our first visit. This is our "home away from home".

Fabulous New Years Eve

New Years Eve was truly amazing, the staff could not do enough for us, food fantastic, gorgeous room and the decorations so very pretty. Everything had been thought of to make it an incredibly special occasion to be remembered. Even a great firework display at Midnight with a glass of champagne. We have booked for next year already. Thank you Hintlesham Hall, we loved it all.

Outstanding Hall with exceptional service

We had an intimate wedding package and hired the parlour room which was stunning for our ceremony and wedding breakfast. We had the garden room for drinks and coffee after. The hall was decorated for Christmas and we were lucky to have our wedding in that period which made our wedding even more magical. We could not have asked for a better venue, not only is it stunning but the service from Tracy and all the staff at Hintlesham is outstanding. They will go above and beyond to make your wedding special. Would highly recommend Hintlesham Hall for a wedding.

August Wedding at Hintlesham

After a lot of deliberation over where to have our wedding reception we decided to have it at Hintlesham Hall and we could not have been happier with our decision! The day was absolutely perfect and ran so smoothly, thanks to Zoe and the rest of the staff at Hintlesham. Detailed planning and great communication leading up to the day meant that on our wedding day we could relax and enjoy the day with our guests without any stress. The venue is beautiful meaning that there is no need to spend extra money on decorations and the food was incredible. We had exclusive use of the hall which meant everyone could enjoy the whole hotel. The children (and adults) loved playing croquet on the lawn. Most of our guests were able to stay which meant our wedding practically lasted 2 days with some guests still drinking coffee, walking around the grounds and playing croquet when we left the next day. Thank you again to everyone at Hintlesham, we look forward to returning for anniversaries in the future!

Superb day out

Wonderful day out. Perfect for adults. Superb gardens with hundreds of interesting sculptures dotted amongst the beautiful flowers - everything about this day out was glorious. Excellent value for money. You can now visit the cafe and shops without paying to go into the gardens.

All-round excellence

Wonderful from start to finish – we’ve just returned from a two night stay with friends. And our rooms – in the courtyard – were spacious with super king-size beds, and bathrooms with large, walk-in shower and bath tub. Food and service couldn’t be faulted with the venison main course in particular. getting lots of praise. Breakfast was equally as good in terms of food and service and tge choices were impressive, including kippers and eggs Florentine. Particularly good toast too.

A wonderful experience

Attention to detail was evident everywhere. Staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Choice and quality of meals was first class. Extensive range of wines. Room was very comfortable. Beautiful surroundings.
